Crozier Glass Drone Reeds are similar to the Crozier Carbon and Crozier Omega Drone Reeds in that they operate with a curved body which allows the flat glass fiber tongue to vibrate. Unlike the Crozier Omega reeds where the curve is adjustable, the Crozier Glass Reeds are made with a permanent fixed curve. Crozier Drone Reeds also feature a fixed tongue support that sits in a recess at the end of the reed body for stability. The reeds are very easy to set up using the airtight tuning plug and bridle for tonal alterations and have been designed for pipers ranging from beginners to the most advanced pipers. Crozier Glass Drone Reeds are suited to pipers who prefer a smoother, more mellow tone from their drones.
