We debated long and hard about using imitation blackwood (plastic) for the drones, but decided to use the same coca bola that we use in making our Fireside™ pipes. It simply looks and feels better. We wanted to provide a top quality instrument at a good value. Ceilidh pipes have a synthetic bag as standard feature.
