Over time hemp can deteriorate, unravel, get too waxy, or become uneven. Fresh hemp not only looks nice, but is cleaner and can allow for easier tuning. We will remove you old hemp and apply new hemp The standard wrap will be with two strands of yellow hemp unless stated otherwise. If you wish we can use black waxed hemp or yellow waxed hemp. For this service you would need to ship the entire bagpipe, so we can check the fit in all parts.
